We are looking to appoint a self-motivated individual that is people and service focused to join our Flight Support team. Someone who gets it right first time, shows passion in their work and has the “Can Do” spirit that made DHL world leading in Logistics.

To qualify for this opening you will need an impressive attitude to both work and learning, possess first class communication skills and the ability to take a pro-active and enthusiastic approach to contribute positively to a varied and pressured work load whilst adapting to changing priorities as they arise. Exemplary time keeping and attention to detail are essential.

The Role:

  • Maintaining and updating Flight planning back office data incl A/C Data, PRED routes, Company NOTAMS, Dispatch Bulletins etc.
  • Complete Airfield assessments as required for all our operations.
  • Perform route analysis for new city pairings to find the most optimal routing solutions and also to maintain existing routes due to AIRAC changes, TFR restrictions and closure NOTAMS.
  • Create briefings for crew and Ops on new routes.
  • Apply and secure required permits for our flight operations and share data accordingly with Ops status briefings.
  • Assist team members within the department such as EFB Administrator + Publications officers.

The Requirements:

  • Hold five GCSE’s – 9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office packages including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Flexibility to work an occasional late/night shift.
  • A clear record for the security check required for Airside pass.
  • Any previous experience of aviation related roles would be preferred but not required as training will be provided.

  • Customer service focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A “hands-on” people person with a flair and maturity for working in a dynamic and responsible position
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
  • The ability to work under pressure and provide strong leadership throughout.
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels.
  • Willing to embrace the DHL ethos and work accordingly to achieve the targets set.
