Administrative Assistant [United Kingdom]


 

The Fat Butcher is an online meat delivery company based in the North East with 2 shops in Bebside and Denton Burn. We ship to over 1,000 customers per week and are keen to triple in size.

We are keen to recruit an admin and accounts assistant working across various areas including accounts, customer service and admin with the opportunity to assist on the social media/ marketing side

This is an exciting role to help develop the brand and business.

There is also opportunity to progress within the business

Key duties- Accounts

  • Creating purchase orders for the suppliers
  • reconciling purchase orders and invoices
  • assisting the shops with the admin associated
  • creating reports for the directors and managers

Key duties- Social Media

  • Doing social media posts
  • Sending marketing emails
  • Learning social media and marketing skills

Key duties- Customer Service

  • Deal with customer queries and complaints through email with option to call
  • Record all issues and customers response in detail
  • Ensure customer follow-up all the time
  • Handle customer needs and requirements
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve
  • Assist and support sales, marketing or other departments in handling customer requests and needs
  • Liaise with the butchers on any issues or comments
  • Produce weekly reporting on sales, comments and suggestions
  • Assisting customers in placing orders and any potential upsells
  • Providing a follow-up phone call to the customers to ask if they are satisfied. The feedback should be documented to assist in improving the company's services.
  • Day to day admin
  • Excelling in customer service by helping us go above and beyond

Qualifications

  • Experience in xero or another accountancy package
  • Experience in all office based software
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques. Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
  • Interest in social media and marketing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
